about

Years ago I won a trip to Australia by pretending to be a student and doing silly challengers on live radio.

It was all a bit of a laugh at first until I realised I might actually win the damn thing!

Long story short, it was whilst I was in Australia that I heard a group of Hare Krishnas chanting this captivating melody.

I don't recall the words but the melody stayed with me all this time.

Whilst recording the album we played around with it in the studio and the lyrics Ii had written all those years ago, we ended up using for this track.

Instead of a chant the song turned more into a Gospel style but keeping the spiritual feeling of the song intact.

The meaning of it to me makes it a perfect choice to set thevtonebforbghe album and lead you in by the hand.

lyrics

First & Last

Oh my Lord Iam falling i am falling
Oh my Lord Iam falling fast
Down down, you hear me calling
I want you to be my first and last
My first and last
